DRAKE BELL ROCKS THE HENDERSON PAVILION, APRIL 19

The City of Henderson Cultural Arts & Tourism Department is pleased to announce that Drake Bell, the star of Nickelodeon’s award-winning show Drake & Josh, will perform at the Henderson Pavilion, located at 200 S. Green Valley Parkway, on Saturday, April 19 at 7 p.m.

Bell, the 21-year-old actor/singer/guitarist, creates a 60s throwback vibe with his Beatles-esque pop sound, catchy lyrics. His performance is a reflection of several inspirational musical icons such as the Beach Boys, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley and, of course, the Beatles.

“We are excited to have Drake Bell perform exclusively at the Henderson Pavilion,” said Andrea Primo, Director of the Cultural Arts & Tourism Department. “Children, teenagers and adults will enjoy an upbeat, entertaining atmosphere created by a multi-talented young male with a promising future.”

Last year, Drake & Josh completed its fourth and final season leaving room for Bell to pursue a musical career. Releasing his debut album “Telegraph” independently in 2005, the album features “Found a Way,” the theme song to Drake & Josh. Bell’s sophomore album, “It’s Only Time,” was released in 2006 by Universal Records and has earned the artist additional fame.

The teen heartthrob is working to complete his third album, which is set to release sometime this year. Bell continues to dabble in several film projects including SUPERHERO!, a comedy from the creators of Scary Movie, is due to release on March 28 and another comedy movie called COLLEGE that will be in theatres later this spring.
